Supported Independent Living is tailored to provide individuals with disabilities a home they can truly call their own, while receiving the necessary support to lead a fulfilling life.

What exactly is Supported Independent Living? It consists of a range of NDIS supports aimed at helping individuals with disabilities achieve the highest level of independence possible within a shared living environment.

Supports funded by SIL. 

SIL provides funding for support workers who assist you in living independently and engaging with your community. If you consider all the supports necessary for completing daily activities over a 24-hour period, these are likely to fall under SIL coverage.

Securing SIL in your NDIS Plan. 

The NDIS will only approve a SIL funding package if the supports are deemed reasonable and necessary for your specific needs. Additionally, you must be at least 18 years old to qualify.
